Well Pon was a bit nervous, but well prepared. We had a 7AM appointment we showed up 30 minutes early, she was taken right in, I waited at Starbucks....
She was asked the standard questions by the new lady, Pon sid she was very nice. She was the 4th interview.
#1 Had to go to the Hospital to pick up records, and was told to come right back. #'s 2 and 3 got a yes and it was qiuckly her turn.
She was asked:
1 Where did you meet?
2 How many times did he come see you?
3 What job did you have when you first saw Mike?
4 What type of food do you cook?
5 When are you going to America?
That was it then she got the white slip and out the door.... We picked up the Visa 2 days later, and Pon and I flew on the 4th of July...
Overall the entire experence was ok and painfree except for the AP @ NVC part... Embassy did a great job and asked fair questions. They never looked through the paperwork in front o... read complete review

The interview was pretty short, 5 or 6 questions.
1.) When/where did you meet your fiance?
2.) Where were you working around the time when you met him?
3.) What happened after you met him? (did he come back? when?)
4.) What happened after that? (did he come back again? when?)
5.) When did you get engaged?
My fiancee said the lady who interviewed her did not smile and was pretty interested in moving things along, but was apparently respectful and not unkind. She lined up at 12:30 for a 1pm scheduled interview and was out with her white slip at around 2pm. I was told that I was not allowed inside of the building during the interview, so I decided not to rock the boat and waited at a big financial building across the street w/ lots of coffee shops inside. It was hot as hell outside today, so it's a good thing that air-conditioned building was near the embassy.
When she went to pick up her visa, she had it in her hand... read complete review

My fiance's interview was on June 18th 2009 scheduled for 1 pm. She arrived about 1 hour before to line up outside; Approximately 50 other people were on line. They were let in, she waited a short while to submit her evidence and then waited to be called. The approximate wait time was about 1 hour. The interviewing officer was a young lady who could speak Thai fairly well. My fiance was asked 4 questions:
1. How did you meet?
2. When did he return to the United States?
3. Since he’s been back to the US, how many times has he come to visit you?
4. I saw the F1 visa on your passport, but it was for only 3 weeks. Why was it so short?
She was told to return Tuesday, June 23 to pick up the visa. My fiance estimated about 10 to 12 others there for K-1 visas. She was the third to be interviewed. The first did not receive the visa due to a lack of evidence of proof of ongoing relationship. The second lady... read complete review
