Piece of cake. DO NOT WAIT IN LINE... I have never seen it on VJ but if you have an appointment go to the front of the line. We had our appointment at 7am and got there at 6am and there were about 25-30 people in line. at 6:30 I walked to the front to see what was happening and they were starting to check people in. Anyone with the large xray envelope were being brought to the front and let in right away. They asked about 5-6 questions and said everything was in perfect order APPROVED. It's a good thing I told my fiance to speak English because she said the ones who spoke Thai were asked a lot of questions and took a lot longer.
My fiance said there was an American in the waiting room with his Thai partner. He didn't go up to the window with her but he was inside not waiting outside (like me)so you can go inside..
We did have a small problem.. They called me in after lunch to explain that they did have to send (fax) her Myanmar ID card to Yangon (US embassy) to make sure ... read complete review

Appointment was scheduled at 7am ,arrived to the Embassy together with my wife around 5:45am. There were already plenty of people waiting in line, probably 11-12 of them. Wife got inside at 6:50. NO RELATIVES WERE ALLOWED TO ACCOMPANY BENEFICIARIES. About 10:40 am a door opened and my wife came out with a smile on her face. YES!!!.
Regarding the interview itself:
1) 3-4 mins. interview;
2) English is a big plus ( make sure, your spouse speaks and comprehends English,at least a beginner level). My wife has told me that some people got inside mush earlier than she did, however they were still thereafter she left.The main problem, people either didn't speak English or didn't have a clue about their documents. Help your spouse to prepare for the interview,it will save you time and headache;
3) Pick up visa after 4 days

4. Where does your fiance live?
5. What does your fiance do for work?
6. Where does your fiance work?
7. Where did you meet your fiance?
8. Has your fiance ever visited you?
9. How many times did your fiance visit you?
10.How did you meet your fiance?
11.When will you travel to the USA?
12.When do you plan to marry?
13.Have you been married before? How about your fiance?
14.Do you have any kids? How about your fiance?

My fiancee said the interviewer was very pleasant. The visa will be available in one week for my fiance to pick up. We already have flight booked

To whom it may concern:

To whom it may concern:

My name is John. I got married to my Thai wife in June of 2009. We waited a long time to get through the application process for her K-3 Visa. She had her interview at the U.S. Embassy in Thailand on October 1st, 2010. They delayed her Visa following her interview for the following reasons, they are:
1. She doesn't speak enough English
2. They didn't believe she was married to an American husband (me)- even though she had all the legal official documents
3. They have had seven female and 3 male Thai applicants apply for a U.S. Visa. They have a problem with prostitution
4. We met on the internet dating service "Thai Love Links" (how else will we meet?" 1 out of 5 marriages today are from an Internet dating site

These were the reason (generalized and discriminatory, not based on any facts regarding my wife's application).

I went to see the U.S. c... read complete review
