Things went well. I had reviewed past posts on VJ and had a good idea what my wife needed to prep for once she arrived, and was inside.
I was able to travel to Thailand to be with her. As stated in others, they do not want to let any one in except who is on the letter. I did go in anyway to carry all the documentation (I over did it, but happy I did! Every e-mail, call, text, etc. since Sept. 2007 well organized) and get additional pages in my passport. She went to the "Immigration" line and waited her turn to turn in her documentation.
General information:
- Ability to speak English is a big plus
- Be prepared with documentation (photos, e-mails, reciepts, messages, etc. in a well prepared package).
- Eat Breakfast!!!
- When you arrive speak with one of the people outside helping people in the line. Show them your health records (X-ray) envelope and appointment letter. They we place you in the front of the line. We were the... read complete review

Pui got there at 5:45am. She was number 9 in line and was not admitted inside until 6:45am. The guards took cell phone but let her bring in her purse with makeup and water that she had brought. She said she left like she was going through air port security. While waiting she met a lady from the Philippines who was there for a k-1 as well. Here is what happened when she was interviewed.
The lady who interviewed her was in 30 - 40s. The lady greeted her in Thai. Pui said good morning in english. The lady was surprised she spoke english.
1. Why do you want to go to America?
2. Please tell me more.
she then looked at her documents.
3. How do you know each other?
4. I never heard of that website before.
5. Does your fiance have a baby?
6. He ha been married before?
7. Does Pui have a baby?
8. Has Pui been married before?
The lady then throws some documents on her side of the ... read complete review

Interview was pretty straight forward but we had one roadblock to overcome, she was considered an overstay as we did not file for her AOS and she had to go back to Thailand due to her mother becoming ill. We had to file for a waiver which was approved in a matter of a few weeks but due to many Thai holidays, it was almost a month before she could get back to the embassy to get her visa.
Our petition was expedited, due to USCIS screwing up big time so the embassy was pretty accommodating in getting my wife taken care of as quickly as possible. When she had her K-1 visa interview a few years ago, that was pretty smooth as well.
Overall, BKK embassy get's a thumbs up, rated 4 out of 5, in my eyes, 5 is perfect and nothing is perfect when dealing with USCIS/Embassies/Consulate.

She arrived at 0600 and exited the embassy at 1015. She said the lady who interviewed her was nice and interviewed her for about 15 minutes. After everything was done, she told my fiance that she could pick up her visa on April 25th after 1500. She also reminded her that we must marry with 90 days after entering the US (which we already knew).
