Hi
Interview appointment was for 7am on March 1st at the embassy in Bangkok. My wife got there at about 6:15. There were 12 folks ahead of her. We discussed everything she would experience on entry and in the interview. I would say we were extremely well prepared. All the docs she needed to get in were readily available. I did not expect they would ask for my income records but she needed to have these to show the personal on the way in. There was of course a long wait.. I phoned about 3 hours later and she told me the good news. ACCEPTED. The only issue was with the birth certificate which was not available although we tried to get it from the Amphur in Bangkok. They sent us back to Chiang Mai where an immigration lawyer we know in Bangkok told us what substitute documents we would need. The interviewer spoke to her in Thai which was a blessing. She carefully explained why we were unable to get the actual birth certificate and he asked about how we met and our relationship in g... read complete review

Fiance went for interview aproximately 1.5 weeks ago. Arrived at 5:30am was first in line. First to interview.
Western male did interview in Thai. Did not ask if preferred in English.
Fiance did not have birth certificate (in US passport serves same function for identification- not so at US Consulate)
Interviewer in particular paid attention to photos and Skype timeline/chat logs. (we video Skype twice daily) He also asked for additional proof of relationship (which she had with her but was so nervous that she forgot she had)
She was not granted visa but was given form that outlined what she needed to provide and address to mail to via registered mail.
Overall she said he acted as though he wanted to grant visa but she failed to meet all requirements on that day.
She made a trip back to her village and local amphur to get copy of birth certificate and then mailed all documents back to Embassy. We (im) patiently wait....
Interviewer in pa... read complete review

It has been taking very long time since first day submit I-129F until get K-1 Approved. We have worked hard to provide necessary documents, and a lot patient..
Now, it's worth to wait --- that's the best test of patient of couple life.
