First of all after we sent in our packet 3 Phan received a phone call from the IV unit. When I had prepared the DS 160 I was unable to attach a photograph electronically. The instructions said to just hand carry a photo to the interview so I was not concerned. But they called Phan telling her they needed it attached and assisted her in attaching a photograph. They called her 3x! Once it was attached they asked what day in May she wanted her interview? So she said May 1. It all happened very fast. I am not sure if all the extra assistance was because of our expedite request or Congressional inquiry but it was amazing service, thank you Bangkok Embassy staff.
Phan arrived very early and was 1st in line, the security guard laughed at her for being so early, around 530 am for 7 am appointment. Around 620 they took her papers and let her in. She was interviewed by two different people for only a short time each. First was a Thai lady who asked what my work was in Th... read complete review

Our appointment was at 7am and we got to the embassy around 6:30. She went through security and sat in the waiting room for about two hours till she actually got her interview.
She was asked:
How did you meet your fiancé?
Did you go to the US and work before? (question about her prior J-1 visa)
What do you need to do for work in the US? (what she plans to do for employment)
Where is your fiancé now? (I was at a coffee shop down the street waiting)
Another question was asked about the information packet that came with packet 3.
She said there were only a couple girls before her but they passed. She said that the girl before her talked to much for each answer which resulted in a longer interview so my girlfriend's advice was to just give short, direct answers to the questions. Also, our case was pretty water tight since I met her in America and I'm currently in Thailand with her.
Unfortunate... read complete review

The interview was actually pretty quick, very few questions were asked about the overall relationship, however this was more than likely due to the amount of evidence that my fiancee brought with her. The interview questions for the most part focused on my (petitioner) previous marriage and about how we met since I had a typo on the i-129F question. My fiancee brought a lot of evidence with her (about 9 books of at least 30 pages each of chat logs).
The entire process took 70 days from mailing the original i-129F packet to approval.

The interview was set for 7 a.m. Chayudom was finished at 10:15 a.m. due to a large crowd of students seeking visas for study in the USA. His documents were reviewed by a Thai woman before he was interviewed in English by an American male. There were only a few questions.
