My Swedish fiance had a very good interview experience at the Swedish consulate in Stockholm. He arrived fully prepared and brought copies of everything. His interview was brief and he just needed to reiterate how the two of us met. He received his passport and visa in the mail two weeks later.

I had my immigrant visa interview on November 13th, 2.5 years after my petition was submitted. I arrived at the embassy at 9am and had to wait outside for a couple of minutes before going through the security control. When I got inside there was one couple before me and one person at window G so I had to wait for about 15 minutes before I could go up to window G as instructed. Once there a woman looked through my file containing the documents previously submitted and she asked me a few questions such as:
How many times have your husband been married? Two
How many times have you been married? Just this time.
Do you have your husbands original divorce decrees? No.
That's alright you can send them to us later.
Why does it say "single" on your Swedish population register extract?
I just never bothered to have it changed.
Okay, you will need to do that.
She then asked me to write my address on an envelope and place the stamps... read complete review

Hi,
Last week I had interview at STK embassy. In interview after very basic q's about my wife, they asked me to submit CV with specific format. I emailed my CV same day, but still did not heard anything from them. I am wondering if any one else have same experience this? on a very funny side, even before my interview started there was already prepared page with statement that you we regret to let you know that we can not approve you visa at this time, you need to submit your CV and then decision will be taken about your visa. Why embassy did not let me know to bring CV with my documents to give them ? and how much it will take more time to decide............wait is going to be beyond my limits...any suggestion/information this regards will be appreciated.
About experience, it was pretty bad, the lady was in rush, did not bother to look at me and seems like she is just fulfilling formality by asking q's, with very cold face.
regards,
