I have to say that all the process at the embassy went really well. By the point of the interview all the documents must be processed, so everything went smooth, the interviewer was nice and friendly.

There was a point of incertinty as I have to explain a delicate situation of the past, but with the documents I provided was enough.

The visa came in around a week later by correos, so I'm delighted of the service they provide at Madrid embassy

If was all over in 30 minuts, i went trought security, they gave me a number and i wait for 2-3 minut and went to the first window, a nice spanish lady ask me for some documents and ask if i was marry before and then told me to wait until the interview called me. I sat down for 5 minuts and then i went to the interview, a young american man who asked me if i want the interview on spanish or english, i replied i can do it in english but i rather spanish, so he started talking spanish explaining that he is going to take my fingerprints and the make me swear the oath, and then he proceed to start about 10 questions:

On time, no problems. The interviewer only asked how we met and when we planned on getting married. They didn't even look at any of the evidence that I brought to support our case.

We both attended the interview since I currently live in my fiancee's country. The interviewer actually joked about how it is my fiancee's turn to move and be with my family. We arrived half an hour before the scheduled time and they let us in with no problem. The entire process took less than an hour. They didn't ask to see any additional evidence, only the medical results. Everything went very smooth. From the guards to the interviewer - everyone was surprisingly kind, friendly, and very very helpful. Great job the staff in Madridjavascript:emoticon('')

Interview was on Feb 11, 2015 at Noon. Process took no more than 40 minutes total. The asked for our marriage certificate and my birth certificate and medical records that were sealed in an envelope. Then I sat down and they called me again, swore me in and asked how we met, about my husband's siblings and then said I was approved. Took my passport and said it would be sent back to me in 4-6 days buy post.
