Our experience applying for a CR-1 visa (via DCF) in Moscow was fantastic. We arrived around 8:00am (the official appointment was at 8:30am) and we had to wait in line outside and go through security and registration. You'll pick up a number to be called and a laminated card for IV visas, which you need to hand in upstairs. The immigrant visa unit is upstairs following the red dots on the floor, and we saw a lot of people waiting. You don't, however, have to wait upstairs. It was very crowded there, so we went downstairs and waited there, as they have a screen where you can sit and wait for your number to be called. Downstairs is very spacious and there are many places to sit, plus they have vending machines there.
We waited about 1.5 hours and they finally called us to the first window. There was a Russian lady there who asked for the necessary documents. We gave everything and she asked a few basic biographical information questions, took my husband's fingerprints. She... read complete review

I asked my fiance how everything went, and he said that the person interviewing him barely asked any questions. They also didn't ask to look at anything such as evidence we provided. They only asked for the I-134 Affidavit of Support Form. They took that. They didn't take very long interviewing him. We are both kind of confused, and not exactly sure if he was approved or denied. They just told him to wait for his passport to come in the mail in about a week. I guess we will see after a week...

Well, Lana had the interview this morning, actual interview was 20 minutes with questions pertaining to her work history. They did not say yes or no, nor did they request additional information. They did take her passport and said they would have an answer in 1 or 2 wks. Additionally, this was the same response provided to 3 other girls waiting. Not sure what to say

My fiancée had her interview on 9/27/16. With her was her 6,7,and 14 year old children. She brought with her a 3 inch full of emails we had exchanged since our first exchange on 1/1/16, Skype screen prints, photos of us together in Saint Petersburg, Ru and receipts for hotel and travel for both of us. While the interview conducted professionally, and he asked for two doc cents which she supplied within two or three day, the matter did not resolve in issuance of the k-1 and k-2s. The CO did not ask to see her evidence of our relationship and when she awhen if he wanted to see it, he said no. Two weeks after she returned home, she received a request for evidence of the relationship!!! This is after she had it at the interview and they were not interested in looking at it. After two more weeks of "intensive review", they decided to return her passports to her and sent a form letter stating that the case had inconsistencies and that the case was being returned to the approving USCI... read complete review

Interview went very well! I was asked a few questions with "yes" or "no" answer and just couple open questions: "where I met my fiancé and when?". Conversation went in a very positive and friendly way. It was my favorite interview from those I had before. It's my 4th US visa. Good luck with your process!
