My interview was fast and efficient. Nothing out of the ordinary or unexpected. Just make sure you bring everything they ask for.

And if you have any doubts or questions prior to your interview they are very helpful and fast at answering your e-mails.

I had my interview scheduled on 11th october and I was very nervous but the people were very nice and reassuring. So I'm going to tell you how it was for me in case you might find it helpful.
I was at the Embassy in Bucharest 30 mins earlier and they told me to wait across the street (there were 3 more people). A man came with a list when it was close to 1 and he asked to see the passport and the confirmation page of the DS160. He called us inside where we had to remove the belt, give them electronics and go through a metal detector (I beeped but they still let me go haha) Then when I was done with that I had to walk outside to enter another building where I got seated in the waiting room and I got called to window 2 very fast to have my fingerprints taken (since I was very nervous the woman had to explain me a lot of times how to place my fingers and she got a little annoyed with me but it's understandable :lol Then she ... read complete review

My interview was at 1PM. I arrived at approx 12.40PM and waited outside the embassy along with 2 other people who were being interviewed that day as well.
At 12:55PM, an embassy employee checked our passports and we were then allowed to go inside the embassy.

Security check: they look through everything including your wallet. One of the security guards took my phone (which had to be switched off) and gave me a tag with a number on it so that I can retrieve it after the interview.

I then arrived into the waiting area which was empty and was directed to go to the first window and was asked to provide the following:
- 2 photos
- original documents (marriage certificate, birth certificate)
- current passport + old passport with tourist visa in it
- sealed medical envelope
- proof of relationship (I had a photo album containing around 100 photos, flight confirmations for both of us, engagement/wedding announcements al... read complete review

Hi everyone! So great news, yesterday had my interview and it went great! Which means I got approved hehe and thought i would share my experience of how it all went hoping it would help some of you future applicants to have an idea on how it all works and really, just not stress about it!
So i had my interview scheduled at 1 PM and got there half an hour early just to be sure. At 5 minutes before 1 PM, the guard officer came outside with the list of names and asked for my passport and then checked the list then told me to head to the entrance. I got there and another officer came outside and checked all of our belongings, bags backpacks. So now, HERE...all of you that are going to the Embassy with bags remember that they won't let you in with them! I didn't know that and had to go back to the Mall, a 15 minutes walk to leave it at a supermarket, so that was a bit frustrating. After that, I came back and went in, i handed my phone and all i had with me, went through the screenin... read complete review
