I had the appointment scheduled for 8:30 am, but the time means nothing really. I entered at 8:00, went through security check and then to the Immigrant Visas room. I took a ticket with my number and had to take a seat to wait. After about 30 minutes my number showed up at one of three windows and I was asked to submit my passport, copy of birth certificate, police clearance and forms DS 156 (2 copies) and 156K and I-134 Affidavit of support. I was asked in Polish three or four basic questions like: Have you been married before? Have you ever been to the US? (yes) On tourist visa? (yes) Did you overstay? (no).
Then I had to sit down again and wait for my number to show up again. After about 70 minutes the number came up so I went to have my fingerprints scanned (40 seconds). Thank you , sit down and wait.
After approximately 35 minutes, the number was displayed and I had to go to a separate room (but no doors, a room just like the previous one, but with no chairs). There... read complete review

Very professional and friendly. The only problem we had was that we were supposed to pick up my fiancees' visa the following day at the TNT office but it was not there. We returned to the Embassy and explained that we were scheduled to leave the next day and they promptly printed her visa and returned her passport within minutes. Not really sure what happened or who's fault the mix up was but my advice is to make sure where the passport will be going once you are approved.

My overall experience was very good because there was no harrassment whatsoever. My interview was very quick. The consular official was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He smiled and made a very pleasant comment on my engagement ring. He asked these question:
1) How long have you been with your fiance?
2) How did you two meet?
3) What is his job?
4) When are you planning on getting married?
5) What ceremony would you like to have?
6) When are you planning on going to US?
7) What are you going to do after you get married?
The interview was held in English. I was asked to swear with my right hand raised and had the fingerprint of my left index finger scanned.
Unfortunately, even though the interview itself was quick, the wait was very long. I entered the embassy at 8 A.M. and left at 11 A.M.
There was a person interviewed before me. His case was put on hold. I was surprised he didn'... read complete review
