My fiance had her interview yesterday took about 3 hours overall. The consul asked 4 questions 4 questions...what is my petioner's name, where we meet and how did we meet and what do I do for work. I think being active duty navy may have helped a bit but I'm not sure. The consul did look at our affidavit of support but none of the relationship evidence. Good luck to everyone!

My appoinment time was 7:40am. I arrived at the Us Embassy Manila at 6:30, I waited about 30 mins before getting in. No need to arrive super early, I recommend at least 30-45 mins.. Otherwise, you will have to endure the long wait since they won't let you in if it's not your time schedule yet. There are chairs for rent but there's no shade outside incase of rainfall incidents. When I entered the first gate, I prepared my passport and DS-260 confimation form. They didn't check my appointment letter as they can see it through the printed stickers which will be attached to the DS-260. I entered the second gate and passed through a metal detector for scanning. Then I walk for several steps until I got in to gate 3 which is in another building. You won't get lost since everyone in the embassy are very friendly and accommodating. I sat in and followed the queue for the pre-screening by a Filipino Consul. He was very kind, smiling and he speaks clearly. He asked for my name, date of birth, ... read complete review

While Maria was waiting for her interview, she noticed a woman interviewer that seemed in a bad mood. EVERY girl that interviewed with this woman was denied. When it was her turn, the woman only stated that I had 3 previous K-1 visas (all for the same woman). She did not ask any questions except one about the late registration for her birth. She gave her a 221g for Maria to mail in her passport and LCR copy of the birth certificate, which she mailed via 2GO on the same day as interview, as she had the LCR at home. We are now waiting for a decision. There have been 4 updates since her interview but all staying in Administrative Processing. I had warned her about a woman like this that I had read about here in the forums. Unfortunately, that was the one Maria wound up with.
