My fiance's experience wasn't bad at all. A lot of waiting, everyone was very friendly though. The same basic questions were asked that they have been asking. Nothing tricky. The biggest issue was she had to go outside and retake passport style photos. The earrings were not allowed. Pretty surprising because we went through several versions of those before getting an interview date.

During this time, it seems that all the schedules for K1 Visa were only on Wednesdays. The waiting time was about 3 weeks which is just enough time to get your medical report.
There will be some security protocols before going inside the Embassy.
My total waiting time was about an hour. The questions were pretty straightforward:
1. How long have you been together
2. How did you both meet?
3. Where will you live in the US?
4. What is my fiance's job?
5. Do you plan to work when you get there?

The interview was not hard. All the paperwork was in order. It took a long time. The embassy does not allow phones. It's a long time to sit and nervously wait. My fiancé said he prayed the whole time (hours) that he was waiting.
