Review Topic: K1 Visa

My K1 journey is one of my memorable events in my Life. With this, my patience, creativity, perseverance and other virtues in life are developed and tested. With the help of VisaJourney, i made my journey a very easy and enjoyable one. I wonder what would it be like if i havent found this site(also the other sites who helped me too in my visa process). So i really thank and bring back the goodness to this wonderful site.

My interview wasnt that difficult. It was like presenting yourself to them/physical appearance to the Embassy. The Cos are very fluent, kind and really doing their job. They show concern and even show interest in everything u say (of course hehe). So u only need to be confident, do ur best and be honest. They wont bite but they wont give u the visa if ur not worth for it

Goodluck to the ones next in LINE.

I very well know that I needed a police clearance from the Netherlands since I stayed there for more than 6 months. From the reciprocity website and NVC, I was told that they are the only ones who can make such request from the Netherlands. True enough, I expected that the Manila Embassy already has it when they scheduled me for an interview.

I have all the papers and documents I needed except for that one. When it was my turn, they asked for such police clearance. I told them about it and even showed a printed page of the reciprocity website. They didn't say anything but directed me wait for my name to be called.

My name was called and I was told that I have to get the police clearance myself. I have to explain to the guy what their website tells me, they printed another one from the same website that I can get such document by mailing. The thing is, it is not for Netherlands but for Netherlands Antilles which is totally a different country. I ... read complete review

the interview process which I thought was so difficult was as easy as 1+1. The filipino interviewer was so nice but the Consul wasn't. She(co) was so mean. I asked her if I was approved after the interview but she didnt talk a single word for it. In fairness to her, she did her job well as there were 2 applicants before me who were denied(not allowed to migrate for using drugs then) and she approved mine.

My medical sched. was done last April 26-27,2007 since i was annulled i was adviced by the doctor to undergo psychiatric evaluation as one of the requirements (May 4,2007) my interview was last May 3, but st. Lukes only released my medical results last May 23 and was transmitted to the embassy the following day May 24, i already paid the delbros and thats the only requirements needed for my visa my medicals results together with my passport until now, i often call the embassy and delbors for the status of my visa and they just advice me that it was still on process with the CO and they cant give me any info how long it will take to release a visa? Maybe it was already overlooked somewhere else since in the computer system its not yet there. Any idea how can i follow up my visa. tnx
