Embassy Interview Experience
US Embassy Manila:
6:00am we lined up at the embassy entrance and fell into the line for K1, K3 and other immigrant visas. We had about 50 people in front of us. After the guard checked our appointment letter and my passport we moved to a seating area just outside the embassy. 10 to 15 minutes later we were finally past the metal detector and pat-down search and in the embassy. We followed the blue arrows to the immigrant visa area where we were seated on the far side of the room since we were 7:30am appointment. The near side was filled with 6:30am appointments already seated. 7:16am we received our ticket number 7046. We went back to our seat, waited a while until her name was called for finger scanning. Very smooth and orderly. Everyone was very good and nice. No real question the interview ask Michelle what was the name of my pet and since I was there and she said he has no pets he look at me and said you don't have some pet you have not told her about with a smile. I said no and said you are approved congrats and that all there was to it. Everything was great!

Interview went very smooth. It helped that we had all the documents well organized and without errors. It also helped that we have such a true loving bond because it showed through in all our documents, photos, answers to questions, etc. I am so proud of my fiancee and admire all that she has went through and is sacraficing to be together with me. She is truly wonderful! I thank God for her every day.

Even with some last minute paperwork problems beforehand the interview was a piece of cake and lasted less than 5 minutes for my wife and stepdaughter. I think it really made a difference being there for the interview and it was also my fourth trip to see my wife in less than ten months.
