We arrived at the Embassy at around 5:30AM and our appointment was at 7:30AM. They let us in around 6:30AM I believe. We sat inside the embassy and they let the 7:00 appointments go first with getting their ticket number. Then we went with the 7:30. We waited and they called our number to do finger scanning. She had trouble with the finger scanning and had to do it about 3 times. She told me it was because of her allergies that day. They said it was good and we waited again.
They called our number after a while to go to the Pre-screener. There he asked for my affidavit of support and the rest of the DS forms. He asked a few questions. When did you meet your fiancé? Where did you meet? How many times have I visited. He also asked for some photos and we handed over the little photo album we had of us together.
Then we waited a couple hours and finally they called our name to be interviewed. We both went in the room and they interviewer asked us some questi... read complete review

Alright.. So my wife had her Interview today Feb 20, 2008 @ 8:30am
We went to the Embassy at around 7:30am.. We got in fast upon the guard seeing that we have a 8:30am Interview..
Upon going to the Ticket booth to get our ticket.. We had a good vibes.. Does people in there greeted us nicely and politely, they even played with my daughter then told us to take a seat...
After 10 mins.. My wife's name was called over the microphone for Fingerprinting.. WoW!! She did it in 1 shot. Then the lady asked us to take a seat again and wait for our number to flash on the screen..
Upon seating for about 5 mins our number flashed on the screen and was suggested to go to window 28 for the Filipino Pre-screener.. The Prescreener was a very friendly man, he greeted us nicely. and asked for the needed documents politely.
Here is what he asked us..
Is he the petitioner = YES
Asked me on when I arrived... read complete review

The Embassy staff was great! They did a little orientation on how to fill out forms so when the consul will review the papers he or she will not have any questions unless they are asking for backgrounds.
The line was long but efficient. They followed the schedule which facilitated very good flow of the lines.

Interview went just fine. Arrived at 4:30 AM...I know early but was first in line and was finished with everything at 9:45 AM.
On the pre screening the only documents they asked for was tax returns for 2 years, I 134 document of support, pictures together and birth certificate.
The consul ask to see no documents during the interview.
Questions he asked....
How did you meet?
When did you meet?
What do your parents think about this?
How long did you chat before he came to visit?
What did you chat about?
What is your fiance religion
Where does he work?
What is his hobbies?
What does he do at work?
Does he have brothers or sisters?
Where does his parents live?
When was the last time that you talk to him?
