Waiting time took 6 hours but the interview was less than 5 mins. The CO asked basic questions like name, age, work, if married, if with kids, etc. and browsed the photos while telling how cute we were. She signed on something and at the same time saying that the visa application is approved.

Consular Officer was "Korean Lady". Filipino consulate employees snobish and condescending until they saw I was with fiancee. Interview was short and to the point. Consular Officer was polite and infromed fiancee that "everything looks okay except that we have to wait for official Hong Kong police background check". Visa received 2 1/2 months after interview.

Our overall experience at the US Embassy Manila was pretty good. We filed DCF so it was pretty fast but not compared to other embassies where DCF only took a couple of months. I guess it was because of the high workload that the US embassy manila has to handle everyday. But their DCF workload is less. We just ran into problems with proving our marital relationship. It was because my husband and I are young didn't really have property, etc. We got 3 RFEs for our I-130. But looking back on it, the immigration officer was just doing her job. She was very helpful though.
Every time we called the visa section (local 5185), Lorraine was so helpful. She answered all questions we had and was very friendly the whole entire time. She was even the one who told me that I could schedule my husband's interview now at the call center. Remember, we filed DCf so we didn't have to go through the NVC process.
My husband said that everyone was nice during his int... read complete review

My husband was the one who was interviewed. He said that the overall experience was nice. No hassle with anyone. The prescreener was very thorough, just as he should be. Whatever he asked for, my husband supplied. The American consul was a pleasant gentleman as well. Asked questions that were all very basic. All in all, the whole ordeal took about 3 1/2 hours from the time he entered the embassy building to the time he paid for the visa delivery fee.
We are just glad he's done!

As of now the Delbros was paid on September, 18th my girls interview was on September 25th the paperwork has been sitting waiting for final conselor review since October 22nd. The girls which my girl helped fill out their paperwork on the day of the interview have already received their Visa over a week ago and still we wait. We have done everything required by our governments; we had more information and documents than anyone else that day. She has never been married, no children, and no police record.
The work is that you have to call Grace or Lorraine at:
011-63-2-301-2000 ext. 5184 or 5185
I have been calling once a week now I am going to call every day, they should stop interviewing until they catch up, and this is ridiculous!
