The interview went very smoothly and fast. The CO was a very good looking young man. (Window 28)
Questions asked:
1. When is your birthday?
2. When did you get married?
3. How I met my husband?
4. Did we travel abroad and where?
5. When did he become US Citizen
6. Why my husband changed profession?
7. Does he have friends in US?
Then that's it! He apologized that it took a while to process our application. He said that my visa is approved and that he wishes us good luck in our new life in US!
Tips:
1. Pray before leaving your house going to embassy.
2. Do not bring any electronic device (cellphones, ipod, etc.). You cannot enter the embassy with those stuffs. No deposits anymore.
3. Be there early. My appointment is 8:30 and I was there 6:15. I got the stub (for queue) number early and I was just in time for my appoint... read complete review

YAHOO! we just received our family-based immigrant visas via courier. i just want to share our experience at the us embassy in manila. we got there at 6 am for our 6:30 interview. we had to line up outside, but the line moved through quickly. more lines and waiting inside, but they were very organized. everyone from the security guards to the fingerprinting agent, to the document screener, to the american interviewer were friendly, courteous and helpful. we were done and out of the embassy by 9:30 am. my only advice is to relax, be yourself, be honest, be courteous and make sure all your original documents and forms are complete and valid. as long as there is nothing fraudulent or incomplete about your case, you should have no problems.
GOOD LUCK to all who await their visa interviews! may the LORD bless you as HE has blessed us.
