As you can see in my timeline,it took me a long time to schedule my interview coz i need to go back in Thailand to get my foreign police certificate since I worked there for 3 years.I waited for 2 weeks to get the police certificate. Unfortunately, I weren't able to go back in the Philippines on my scheduled flight date 'coz of the street rally and d shutdown of Thailand's airport so, i was stucked up for another week. But after that, everything runs smoothly in my medical exams, interview, flight to US, and Wedding. I filed my AOS last week of March 2009, biometric April 22 and recieved a Welcome notice in my mailbox May 18, 2009. Right now, I'm waiting for my green card n work permit in my mailbox... My application was approved in just a short time.

I was there around 7am (my appointment was 8:30am)..It went smoothly for me all in all..I got out at exactly 10am. The prescreener was really nice. He just asked me for my pictures together with my fiance (He didnt get our chats, emails and tons of paperwork I worked hard to prepare )The Consul was really nice too..good looking guy in his early 30's who knows how to speak tagalog. It wasnt as bad as I ever expected. It was just a breeze.

The interview was smooth. Was just asked about when me and my fiance met, how we met, and how he decided to visit me in the Philippines. The last question I believed was the consul's counterchecking of the details and the veracity of the relationship. He announced at the end of the interview that my visa is approved.

03/12/09 First interview at 7AM US Embassy, will need to go back
03/30/09 Air21 telegram dated 03/24/09 Interview #2 appointment letter arrives
05/05/09 Second interview at 8AM US Embassy lasts until 3PM: visa DENIED
Anabelle was nervous, unable to eat lunch, in tears and left in a very negative emotional state. I'm assuming by comparing it with previous postings that this was in the FPU. I think her treatment was consistent with what others have experienced there. The consular officer recommended a course of action that could result in the issuance of a spousal visa in the future. It's very important that the beneficiary tell the truth, otherwise even that avenue would be closed. I hope that your wife will not have the unfortunate fate of having to undergo such a trial and interrogation.
