The interview went well. The pre-screener and CO was very friendly and nice to us. Our interview lasted for about 15min. only. Glad I had a nice CO.

Everything went fine with the consulate officer. Except that it was a long wait period. There were so many people there. I arrived 715am., and I was done with the process at 1215pm. So to all of you having an interview in the Manila US Embassy, allow yourself probably 4-5 hours of total wait and processing times.

We arrived at embassy at 6:15 and stood in line for about 15 minutes. Let inside to go thru security very easy process.
Guard sat us in chairs with others for the 7am interviews, took about 30 minutes and they asked us to get in line for our #. We drew #7033 then we sat and waited.
After about 1 hour they called Elena to have her fingerprints scanned, she say they were very nice.
After about 1.5 more hours they called our # and we went in together for the interview. CO was very nice man, swore us in that we tell all truth.
Ask us a few questions each. Where and How we meet. How many visits I make to Philippines. If I was married before. Did I have any children. We asked if we could pick up visa and he said only if medical emergency or I had to leave country in next 3-5 days. And that was pretty much all, he told us we were approved and asked us to wait for name to be called to get our documents. This took about 10 more minutes then we get in line pai... read complete review
