my interview was 7am, there were already a long line outside the US embassy. Inside the embassy, there were a lot of people waiting as well.I sat down at the waiting area,I made sure to befrind the security guard and remind him of my appointment time, because they dont gve you a number at his point yet and the guard will just choose which rows should go next, i noticed that the 8am'ers were called in first, good thing I reminded him and called our row next.
We all fall in line to a phillipine consuls window who checked our forms, to make sure its all filled up and checked the pics as well, then gave us a number.
After an hour, my number was called for fingerprint scan. Went back to my seat, and after an hour again my number appeared on the screen and the window number for me to go to. A filipino consul again, asked for my files (affidavit of support, proof of meeting prior to application, etc), NBI clearane, my Birth Cert,

All of the employees were very friendly! Our process went very smoothly. The USEM Manila is well organized! The Consular officer even had a joke or two with me!

Event: Visa Interview (Experience)
When: Friday, September 04, 2009
Where: US Embassy Manila, Philippines
1201 Roxas Boulevard, Manila Philippines 1000

My schedule was 8:30 am. I arrived at the Embassy at seven. When I left at the hotel, the weather was nice but, as soon as I got to the Embassy ground the rain suddenly began to pour. Grrr! Mean weather! I don't like rain. LOL! While in line, I heard the security guard announcing that we can't bring any gadgets in such as CP, USB, camera etc., so, I had to pay one of the vendors outside to watch my CP for me. Frankly, I didn't care about my CP unit, all I worried about was my SIM card memory. Lol!

It took me about 10 minutes to fall in line. The (bossy, hmp! lol) lady guard instructed me to sit down and wait at the gate #2. I did not wait long. I got inside the Embassy building at around 7:50. I was all excited and a bit nervous at the same time but, mostly I was happy and all relaxed... read complete review

I flew to attend the interview with Rhiz. The interview was scheduled for 7 am, we got to embassy at 5 am, they started lining us up at about 5:15 am in the front of the embassy, then started processing people inside at about 6 am. We were arranged with in embassy by the types of visa's work, k-1/k-3 etc. The was a woman who first glanced at the 156 and 157 forms made sure had those forms completed and with a pic on them. Was issued a number, but they do not necessarily process in strict numerical order. Then we waited and she was called to get finger printed, then waited a little longer and she was called to the pre-screening window, where she gave them proved off our relationship, I-134, 156 and 257 forms, etc. That took about 10 minutes they asked her he name, questions of how we met, how many times I been married, kids and ages. Then we waited a little longer and were called for CO interview. The man was very nice, and he asked me a couple questions about my career in law enf... read complete review
