Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

I was scheduled for an 8:30 appointment. I arrived at the embassy around 6:45 and was instructed by the embassy guard to sit with the other 8:30 applicants. After few minutes, the guard told us we can go inside the embassy and asked us to sit behind the 8:00 applicants. It was very cold inside. Around 8:15, the guard told us to get our queue number from the ticket booth. The lady took the first 2 pages of my appointment letter and asked where was my passport and medical. I told her Saint Luke's kept it and I was told that they will forward it to the embassy. Then she asked if I was pregnant, I said no. She then gave me my number. They were calling numbers/names for finger scanning so I had to be attentive because the sound was too low and choppy. It took almost 2 hours before my name was called to Window 16 for my fingers to be scanned. I was quick. Some people can't follow simple instructions that's why it took them longer than it should. Anyway, after 5 minutes, my number (6082) flash... read complete review

Scheduled at 7:00AM for all K visas. Arrived at 4:30AM. Interview went well for both mother and daughter. Told it was approved at 11:30AM. Had the medical the week before and it took only two days for both of us. The K-1 and K-2 Visas arrived by courier in Manila (where we stayed) a week later. My future husband then booked flight to the USA for the following day!

My interview went very well. I had general questions about my birthday, age etc. I had general questions about my husband: address, profession, birthdate, etc. Then I had specific questions about my husband's previous divorce - who was he married to before and when was he divorced. These questions were repeated by two different Consulars the final time under oath. He then briefly reviewed my packet of forms and evidence of our relationship. Then congratulations! Then pay for the visa delivery and home! Visa delivered to Talisay City, Cebu in 2 days.

Review Topic: K1 Visa

My interview was at 7am on Nov.23, there were lots of people sitting on the bleachers in the front of U.S.embassy. While waiting to get inside the embassy I was observing other people there and the security guards. They were separating the people that had an appointment of 6:30am, 7:00am,8:30am and they check our appointment letter to remind us that if we have a electronic devices we couldnt come in. So around 6:00am they started to get us inside the embassy. The first door that I entered, they checked my bag and after that they assisted me to the right and then i saw the immigrant visa applicants. One woman assisted us to sit in the blue chairs. The girl told us that we need to prepare our DS forms like 156, 157, 156k. They looked at my appointment letter and told us to wait again a few minutes. Then I went to one both there to submit my DS forms and they give me a number that you will use for the whole processing. Went back to sit again and wait for my name to be called for the finger... read complete review
