I was in the embassy around 6:00 am for my 7:00 am scheduled interview and I finished at exactly 10:00 am. Overall the K1 visa interview with the consul officer went well. The type of questions can be found in the forms I have submitted. The answers were all what I have written in my application form. The consul officer was very nice. I would suggest to all other applicants to be calm and smile a lot during the interview. Be pleasant at all times. When asked, answer from your heart and always tell the truth. After the interview, right on, face to face, the consul officer told me that my visa is already in process and has been approved.
Just a note for pre-interview, prepare all the documents listed down in the visa packet, no other documents needed for this type of visa and you do not need to bring so much proofs...just few pictures, billings, letters, and proof of support... I brought all of my documents/proofs but they didn't even asked for it.

This whole process is one of the unknown and what happens next. I filed the I-129 with complete ignorance of the process. I paid Apex Visa service $900.00 for help in filling out the papers; the help I got was less than stellar and was just one more experience that made me dread dealing with USCIS. There is so much bad press out there about this process. The USCIS is the easiest part of the process. It is all of the doomsayers that made me feel like I was living on a bubble.
If you are in love and have an honest relationship, relax and know that the people at USCIS are there to help you achieve your goals. They're not there to stop you but to document your decision. If you are hiding something--well that is their expertise, to read people and weed out people coming to the U.S. for the wrong reasons. Sounds fair and I think it is.
The interview went well and the interviewer even told my spouse to answer the questions in a yes and no manner. She helped her... read complete review
