Arrived at embassy at 5:30 am they allowed her in at 6:00 am. She had her appointment letter and used her NBI as ID. By the way there was a service there that allows her to leave her cell phone for $150p.
Not sure of the times but process progressed as follows:
Went inside and received a number, when number was called she was finger printed and returned to her seat.
After about 20 min she was called for pre screening ( she called it Philippine interview) the inverviewer who was a Filipina had her sign the her ds 230 and asked;
What is your name?
Name of your petitioner?
What does he do for work?
Where does he live in the US?
How did you meet?
When did you last see him in person?
She ask for phone records, chat logs, western union receipts, and photos. All this took about a 15 min
Returned to her seat to wait her name to be called. Wait maybe 45 min and her name was called for the interview. The CO was a w... read complete review

The entire staff of the U.S. Embassy in Manila was amicable and accommodating. Other than the guard's wrong instructions, the rest of the experience went fairly well. The consul I was assigned to was polite and not dismissive like the other one who shared a room with him. The interview process was simple and efficient so as long as you pay attention to the numbers on the screen, you're good. I noticed that the people were accommodated based on the paperwork they presented so I was accommodated before some of the people who had earlier appointments. Arrange your documents well and walk in with confidence. It was a very good experience!

Process went through smoothly, Line was short for K filers; CO only asked 4 question on interview; 1. When is your Birthday? 2. How did you and your fiance meet? 3. Do you intend to marry your fiance within 90 days? 4. What is your Fiance's work? Though Pre-Screener at the window/boot asked more questions, than the CO. Otherwise; everything was smooth. Oh, be careful of the fixer outside the Embassy; they'll try to milk you with false information and charge you with $$$. They'll say anything like for instance CP (which ofcourse is not allowed in side) and Flash drive, or anything electronic etc are not allowed; they'll charge you 100- 200 pesos that they'll watch your things; they'll also say that you need this such and such forms and charge you with soo much $$$ for printing and PC rental...
Just stick to VJ guidelines and Embassy Guidelines and you'll be fine don't let any one intimidate you; process is easy and smooth, CO's are nice and accommodating; Jus... read complete review
