Feb.1 i woke up very early as early as 3am and getting ready for the interview. We travel at around 4:30am going to USembassy. My interview schedule was 6:30am thank God im not late. I came there with complete documents when the guard called the 6:30 non-immigrant applicants to fall in line we all together went to where the guard instructed the applicants. Then i got my ticket number at around 7:00am, when i saw my number i went to window no#14 the guy there is so nice and approachable,he just ask me few questions and ask for my cenomar then my birth certificate and the NBI clearance. Then follow he ask for the affidavit of support that's all he ask for.And waited again for my number to flash, then time comes to the final interview i went to booth no#31 the consul looks strict but when he began to ask me questions i found out that he is nice and he did not ask for other documents. He just ask me who is my petitioner, whats my relationship with him, how old is he, when and how did... read complete review

Our wait at the embassy was rather long and boring but the outcome was good for the wait because we were approved. The first thing they had us do was to get a number once inside and then it was chosen at random when we were to be seen for the finger scan we had been there about 2 hours waiting for this. Then
pre-screen interview took place about an hour after that then they went to lunch so had to wait another 2 hours so now have been in embassy about 6 hours getting tired by now but patient's is a virtue they say. so after they come back from lunch we were the second ones called for our interview and it went good for us. Thank God javascript:emoticon('')

Appointment time was 6.30am. I arrived in the Embassy at 5AM and not 5 minutes later they started calling for everyone with a 6.30AM to fall in line. The guard looked at the appointment letter and my ID card and gives a reminder that electronics and liquids are not allowed inside. At 6.05AM, applicants were asked to go in the building, passing through another security check (they scan your things to make sure no liquids and electronic gadgets are inside). Went into the Immigrant section room. Another quick queue to get a priority number (mine was #9). At this point they ask everyone for their passport, which really confused people because of course all of us had the passport submitted to St Luke's (the hospital forwards it to the Embassy themselves). I felt bad for the older applicants because when asked what does St Luke's do with the passport, they seemed clueless and had to answer with "I don't know". Clearly this seems to be a trick question, but for what purpose I have not... read complete review

Review Topic: K1 Visa

Interview date: January 28, 2011
Interview time: 6:30 am
VISA APPROVED: 9:00 am

My Fiance had a 6:30 am appointment for his interview. He stayed at Casa Bocobo Hotel so the Embassy was only blocks away. He was up at 5:00 am and left at 5:30 am. He said that the pre interview took longer than the his actual with the consul. For his pre interview it was a Filipina lady, she asked for his NBI, Birth Certificate, CENOMAR, evidence of relationship and evidence of support. She asked questions like "How did you meet?" "What do you do for a living?". After that the Filipina lady told him to sit back and wait for his number to be called. 20 minutes later his number flash and he was on his way to his actual interview. It was an African American consul and he said that he looked intimidating. My fiance sat down with confidence and within 5 minutes the Consul approved his Visa! The only question that was asked was to see our pictures.
