Wife Jezyl appt time was 6:30am, she arrived at 5:20am and fell in line. Every line had a different category, with different times. Security guard ask her what category and time of her interview. She was told to go to immigrant visa line which she said was long line she went to the end. Guard reminded people no electronics, no food or water, no coins cause u have to go through metal detector, her aunt held her purse for her.I think they told everyone outside to prepare there appt letter and looked at passport and I think maby id to get inside. Her papers were checked in the line few more times but girls working for the embassy. She was given a number to remember 6095 that was important to process her papers inside. She said her leg and back so hurt cause she wear high hill shoes.Jezyl aunt waited with her purse at the sea wall, she also said no candy allowed only paper and ballpoint pen.Jezyl was not really tired cause sun had not risen yet and she was inside by 640am.Jezyl said one older ... read complete review

Arrived at Embassy at 5:30AM, such a long wait to get inside.
Pre-screener was rude she kept asking for my original letter from Embassy with case number on it. I told her I did not recieve that, it was mailed to my Thom at his address in America 1 week before my interview date.
First CO Interview
very nice and pleasant:

I had to wait for 3 hours, but once I was at the windows, it was a very quick process—not spending more than 5 minutes each—both at the external window with the Filipino staff who checked to see if all my documents were intact, and with the second window (behind closed doors) for the American consulate officer who conducted the interview.
I had a very pleasant experience with the American officer—she was smiling all throughout the interview.

My finacée's interview was scheduled for 0635 so she arrived at about 5am. She ended up going into the embassy grounds in the second group that included the other K-1 applicants. Lots of security checking for contraband. All she brought was the paperwork that we had agreed upon. She waited for her number to be called. Lots of waiting. When called she went to the window and provided that required documents to the pre-screener. She was asked some simple questions like my name, occupation, where and when we met, look at pictures, etc. More waiting then to the consular officer interview. He did not as much. She does not really remember what he asked as she was so nervous. She only remembers that she was asked to raise her right hand and swear that all the information was truthful. Then more waiting before called to 2GO window where she filled out the form for her visa delivery. DONE , FINISHED , APPROVED , PASSED
