This is as told to me by Tonieta who just passed the interview at noontime 6/22/11 in Manila.
Arrived at embassy at 6:15 A.M. long lines but guard told everyone to organise d 156 and 157 forms and passport which he checked and soon the lines entered the embassy at 6:30.
Filled out 2GO form for where to send visa if approved.
Waited then went to window 39 and passed in 156 156k and 157 and passport
Waited then to window 38 which was the initial interview with a Filipina whom Tonieta said was pleasant. A space was blank on the 156 and she asked Tonieta to fill it in. She was asked only a few questions about her children and my children(names, ages) and about my divorces and my work. They also took the I-134 and and my tax transcripts for 2007,2008 and 2009 and my turbo tax copy of my 2010.(I filed late and had no transcript)
Waited and then did fingerprints.
Waited and then window 68? for the final ... read complete review

So, I had my interview June 21st. I was in the embassy at 5:50am but my appointment is at 6:25am. Before I get in I prepared my appointment letter, medical and passport. Gadgets are not allowed to bring inside the embassy. They will not let you in. After getting my number i dropped my appointment letter on window 39 and wait for my number to flash on the screen for my initial interview. (The queuing board numbers are not called in strict numerical order so you should be sooo patient.) after more than 2 hours of waiting, my number flashed on the screen for my initial interview and the interviewer is a filipino and he is very strict.
These are the questions asked:
1. name of the petitioner
2. asked for wedding pictures (he wanted a pic with the priest)
3. asked for my CENOMAR (good thing I have a copy of it)
4. evidence that my husband visited me so i showed him all of his ticket
5. my medical copy
6. Where we met
7. When was the ... read complete review
