The Consular Officer was very nice to me and everything was so smooth from the time we entered the US Embassy until the interview was over.

The interview itself was a piece of cake! However, getting the NBI and the medical (3-days of crying kids!) took a bit more effort. We put 2 binders together one of all our documents and one a scrap book of sorts of our relationship. The interviewer said he wished everyone had binders like ours made it very smooth and quick. The interviewer asked us only 5 questions. 1. Where did we meet. 2. Show me a photo of you and your fiance where you met. 3. Show me a photo of you and the kids together. 4. Where do you work? 5. When do you plan to depart the Philippines. 6. He ask my fiance if she is being forced to go to the USA. 7. He asked me if the kids will travel with us or come at a later date. Then he said you are approved!!

My visa was approved this morning. visa journey helped me alot escpecially the consulate reviews i read here thats why im doing my part writing my review for the future fiances/fiancees who will have their interviews. I was at the embassy at 6:30 AM, got approved around 11 AM. The long wait is killing me and it's nerve wrecking, but prayers do help to calm me. It's funny how my heart skips a bit when i see my number on the board (6105) but i tell you everything is so easy and went smoothly. The interviews took only 3 mins each (filipino pre-screener and american consul). They only ask basic questions that you will surely know. So relax and just be concise with your answers and make sure your papers are COMPLETE.
Filipino pre-screener questions:
1. Anong pangalan mo? (Wh... read complete review
