17 yr old daughter attended with my wife since she is a minor. CO seemed new. Had someone tutoring him at the start. Wife said he was more nervous than they were. Didn't even look at stacks of photos we brought. Approved. Wait for passport.

I had my medical appointment on September 3, 2021 at 8 am and within a day I was cleared. They only gave me a vaccination worksheet and a request for COVID RT-PCR test (with my picture and PDS number).

My interview appointment was exactly 7 am and I went to the US embassy Manila at 6 am. So, I went outside and gave it to the woman who could hold it for me (needed to pay Php200 afterward, good thing I brought money :D). And I went back inside and scanned my things and they found ... read complete review

Although the petitioner's presence is not required, I could definitely tell my being there had a definite positive impact! My fiancé was extremely nervous and stepdaughter (17 yrs old) was very engaging with the questions. The official and I were very chatty and my stepdaughter jumped right in like a pro! I believe our family dynamics went VERY far to make our case. Because of the distance I traveled, Maryland to Philippines, my presence and support was the highpoint of the highly successful interview. I made a great decision in going there AND I surprised my fiancé by showing up and supporting our effort.
