Just want to share my interview experience last Oct 13, 2011. We arrive there at around 6:00 am and those with 6:30 schedule were already in line. we waited for about 45 mins to 1 hour before we fall in line. Then we were inside the Embassy, i waited for about 1 hour for finger scanning and another 1 1/2 hour for the pre screening. The pre screener is a Filipina and she doesnt ask much questions. i remember she ask me who is my petitioner, how did we met, when was the last time we saw each other.and she told me to wait for my number to be called again. after a few minutes, she called me again coz she ask me if i have a pictures..i said yes and she told me to show it to the consul.

The long wait is over, before my twins show their tantrums, my number was flashed. I went to the window and the consul is a good looking man thats why i show him my sweetest smile. He even greeted my 3 yo son and ask where is his twin sister, so i show him his twin sister and ask me who was my... read complete review

Interview was very smooth.

The Filipina CO for initial interview asked a couple of questions about the date on when we met, officially in a relationship, the last time I saw my husband in person. She also asked me about my ALMA MATER and if I was able to practiced my Bachelor Degree and I answered YES. She asked me if I have a CENOMAR (CEMAR if you are married), I gave it to her and she stapled it with the other civil documents.

She asked if I got pictures so I gave the album, she complimented my wedding gown and asked about the motif of my wedding. Basically she complimented most of the pics, no questions was asked cause I got every pics labelled with the name of the people and places.

After that, I was about to gave her the other evidence of relationship but she said its enough and just wait for my number for last interview.

My last interview was with an American Lady, very pretty white girl and young as well. She asked ... read complete review

I just arrive home after having a successful interview. Tired as I may be, yet I am still full of energy. Maybe it's because today was a great day where I received a very wonderful gift from Heavens, I got approved :D - Anyways, just rejoicing but here's my review to give ideas for the rest of the VJ's who is yet to undergo their consular interview.

My schedule is October 11, 2011 @ 6:45am. I am from the Leyte and stayed a week here @ Bagong Silang, Caloocan. Not that close at the embassy so what me and my aunt did was we woke up around 2am. Did the regular stuff to prep myself for the interview. Left the house at around 3:30am and arrived at the embassy at around 4:30 (or close to that time). There were already applicants lined up close the Baywalk, which is where the applicant have to wait till they are called in by the guards. I met Tonnette, another K1 applicant like me, we stayed at the side where the rest of the applicants stayed which had 6:45 schedules. T... read complete review

Carna's interview lasted maybe 15 minutes. A very short interview by a filipina at the embassy before meeting with the consular officer. I thought I would have to wait outside the interview room, but was told I could be there with her. We had our papers in order, with selected photos of us together over the past three years, including Carna's family (parents and siblings), when I spent time with her at her teaching job in China (with friend's and students). He asked very few questions.

The CO was satisfied with everything and said he was approving her visa. I asked if we could pick it up at the embassy instead of having a delivery service send it to her Phil. address, since she had been working overseas. He said it wouldn't be a problem and gave us a paper to give to the clerk as we were processing things.

It went very smoothly from our perspective, and we piked up her PP witht eh visa after about three more days.
