I've read a lot of consulate reviews here in VJ and all did help me a lot during my USEM interview yesterday. As a way of giving back and helping others, I'm gonna write my experience and share it to everyone.
Arrived at the embassy around 7am for my 8:30am appointment. The line wasn't that long (prolly coz its raining. hehe). Presented my passport and appointment letter at the officers inside the tent. They put a numbered sticker at the back of my passport and put it inside a zip lock (passport wide opened with the biographic page visible). Another sticker (with the same number) was put in a blank 2go visa delivery form. They then instructed me to proceed to the 2nd door (entrance for immigrant visa applicants). Here, I did undergo security check and I must say strict compliance is a MUST! No electronics, no fluids in any form, no foods! Candies are allowed though! AFTER A LITTLE OVER A YEAR WE FINALLY GOT APPROVED ...THE PETITION APPROVAL TOOK MUCH LONGER THAN THE VISA APPLICATION APPROVAL...I SPENT HOURS AT A LIBRARY HERE IN USA STUDYING THE IMMIGRATION LAWS AND THEN WE DID EVERYTHING ON OUR OWN...THANKS GOD WE ACHIEVED OUR GOALS IN A REASONABLE TIME CONSIDERING WE DID NOT HIRE A LAWYER...I PERSONALLY NEVER TRUST THEM...LOL...GOOD LUCK TO THE REST HERE AND FEEL FREE TO ASK IF EVER NEED ADVICE.

so i did to the embassy at 5:30 and do all that i need to do..i had a long time waiting for my number to be called. til it was my time to be at the consul.he was good and kind and just asked for my pictures and told me that she needs two more docs from me.
so i waited again and called at window 73 and was given a white sheet asking for nbi with aka and cenomar. i passed it last nov 14 and stil waiting.
