Review Topic: K1 Visa

Love had her interview today. She said everything was so streamlined and organized and that each person was so friendly to her. She said we were approved with no problems. They only asked her when we would marry and when was the last time we were together.

I'll post a more detailed message later when get the full breakdown from her She was exhausted hehehehhe

Review Topic: K1 Visa

My fiance had her interview on Apr. 24, 2012. She got there around 5 AM. She dress in a nice blouse and slacks with nice shoes. Her mother joined her for company. She had to redo her passport photos again because her eyes were not shown in the previous one. She organized all the evidence I sent her into clear sheet and binder to show the consuler at the window. She just asked some basic questions about me and what I did. Not to many questions about my family. Her english is not very good so the Filipino consular stay with the American consular to help translate. They asked her were to send the passport after approval. She did a 221g because she need to correct a mistake on her CENOMAR and NBI travel clearance. She need a CENOMAR for herself and one of the children. The embassy recieve the the new CENOMAR on May 7th and next week she will have to got pick up her new NBI travel clearance. The Councilor only ask couple simple questions and request the required documents. The I-134 (Affidavit of Support) and DS-156K (Nonimmigrant Fiancée Visa Application).

Sorry for taking so long to write the review have been very busy. I was so very worried about having the visa approved because was dealing with many issues with money and changing careers and recent divorce and a fiancée that was 18 and never been out of the province before. So I went back to do everything with her. After ready many reviews of people having a very hard time and being denied for many different reasons. I prepared for the worst armed with a million documents and very well thought out explanation.

I won’t go through the typical walk through. I will just tell you if you are considering going then GO it is well worth it. Just dress nice and be polite and all will go amazingly well. I was 1 of only 3 Americans there that day. Other two were not dressed well and they seem to have little more problems than us. We were not asked hardly any questions I was not even sure the first interview had happened until we were at the second and were basically only asked... read complete review
