It definitley is journey to say the least. While waiting it seemed s long but now looking back and seeing the timeline it happened pretty fast. It is well worth it for me to go through it all to have my Pinay with me. Everything happen just as the timeline here on Visajourney said it would. Thanks for all the help with the example forms and download forms, they helped a lot.

Fiance showed up at the embassy at 6:30 am and said that there were already many people there waiting to enter the embassy grounds. She said she was screened through security and given a number and was told to sit and wait until her number flashed on a screen. She said that her first interviewer was a filipino male who asked her for her papers, and asked her a few questions. She said he was particularly interested in the financials and asked her if I had been supporting her there in the Philippines. She said that the american counsular was nice and asked her my name when was the last time we met. He reviewed her papers and told her that the medical exam results were not at the embassy. This was strange because her interview was on 8/17/12 and she finished her medical exam on 8/8/1... read complete review

Hi fellow VJers!
Had my interview last August 30 and finally got my visa approved.
I supposed most of you have already heard about the process which takes place inside the USEM. So I wouldn't go into the details anymore. I would just share some questions asked to me which might be helpful for you guys.
Questions from the Filipino interviewer were:
-Who is your petitioner?
-How did you meet?
-Have you travlled abroad?
-Have you applied for a US visa before?
She took the DS forms, B-cert, Cenomar, NBI clearance, Affidavit of support, ITR and W2. Just that.
She also asked to look at some of our pictures.
I finished biometrics and the initial interview at 9am. So all I was waiting for was the final interview with the American consul.
Here's the catch, after 9am, I finally had my interview at 2:30PM. CAN YOU JUST BELIEVE THAT? I was the last number called from all ... read complete review
