First and foremost, this entire experience wouldn't have been possible without God who made things way more easy than we could ever imagined it to be. We are one of those few who went for a co-sponsor to help with our case. All glory belongs to Him!

To the Visa Journey team, hat's off to you guys! Without this site, we would've not make it this far. All of those who posted and commented regarding the k1 visa process have been undeniably valuable to the success of our journey. You guys rock! Forreals!

So yeah, I had my interview on October 3,2012. My schedule was for 7.30.

Tips:
1. Bring an umbrella! Ber months are rainy months and i was lucky to have rain pouring down during my interview date. haha
2. Also, no need to wait early hours like i did. 1 hour before the set time is ideal since the whole thing is not on a first-come, first-serve basis anyways.

In order for this to be an easy-read, here are the organi... read complete review

Done my Interview Oct. 04 2012, Arrive at U.S. Embassy around 6:30 go straight to the boot where they took may DS-Forms to check, stample together.. and tell me to enter the second door., after I enter, guards smiling and asking if i have gadgets I said no I don\'t have \'coz I only bring my papers for the Interview and i did bring a lot hahaha., so go to the next door and the door was so heavy.. that I need to ask the guard how to open it hahaha .. so I open the door successfully.. fall in line and wait for my turn.. I go to window one and the guy asked for my ds-forms with appointment letter and staple my number on it and give me a copy of my lucky no. too, it\'s 6091 and go to the next building, they don\'t tell me which way to go but I\'m just taking my time and looking around reading where is the door for Immigrant Visa.. so I enter the second door and as always guards are smiling and joking with me and telling how heavy my bag is haha.. and I said sorry for giving him hard time p... read complete review

First of all, I want to thank God, my fiance, my family, friends and Visa Journey for helping me on the K1 Visa process.

I had my K1 Visa interview yesterday, October 3, 2012, 7:30am. It was a rainy morning. I arrived at the US Embassy Manila at around 7:00am, not that early I know but I was lucky that there are only 3 of us in the line. But I suggest to be there at least 45 minutes before your appointment time.

There were vendors outside asking if I have things not allowed inside the embassy such as cellphones, electronic gadgets, USB, camera and battery. So make sure you don't have those things in your bag or else you will not be allowed entry and you will have to reschedule your interview.

I saw also some celebrities like Kim Chiu, Maja Salvador, Rayver, Pokwang and Erich at the Tourist Visa queue line.

Anyways, I went to the Immigrants/ Fiance queue line which is just outside the embassy. A Filipina checker will ask for... read complete review

I am writing this review on behalf of my Fiance who was at the interview. She said she was interviewed by two people. The first was a Filipino lady who looked very strict and didn't smile who asked a lot of questions. The second interviewer was an American man who smiled a lot and was very friendly and he just asked a couple of questions. Overall, she said the interview was good and she is glad this process is over..
