So, I left home at 0500 and got to the Embassy twenty minutes later. By then the line is like a mile long. Bee-lining to it, I turn in my DS Forms and passport. I place them in the ziplock bag provided by the Pinoy guard.
Into the Embassy I go. They scanned everything. Since I didn't bring any gadgets, I was let in. Ending at window 1, I drop off all the DS Forms and passport. They issue the number and mine was 6123. I sat down. My number flashed after 15 minutes. Window 39 was my designated window. Next fingerprinting. While getting the fingerprinting portion, they asked what my name is and my date of birth. Just two questions. I was directed to sit down and wait for my number to be flashed again. Twenty minutes later I was ON again. The Filipino screener asked for my NBI, CENOMAR and BC. My fiance's W2 and 1040. He asked the following questions. My name, my date of birth and my petitioner's name and his age. He asked if I have proof of communication and I said... read complete review

She had interview on 22th October. She was finished by 11:30 and her case number was 67. She was asked when I came to visit, if she knew I was divorced and also did she know that I had sponsored someone before her and asked why I cancelled the previous petition. She then explained why I did not have a W2 because I am retired. She was able to explain my assets because I reviewed everything with her prior. Final question was when did we intend to get married? He final interviewer was an american. After she answered all questions, he smiled at her and said "you are approved."
