This is what I experienced at my interview last Nov.09, 2012..6:30 my time of interview. First we are in line outside embassy that was 5:30am, one worker of embassy said that ready the passport and interview letter from embassy in there you will be given a zip lock to put your passport. And then after that fall line again to enter the room for scanning after in scanning room go out side and fall in line again to get a no.that is your no.for the entire interview. Finally after that go inside the embassy look at the sign side of door where will you going to enter..( always remember embassy instruction)Sit first and wait for your no.to flash in the screens and what window will be going(always look at the screens so that you will not miss your no.) first window is for bio metrics-finger scanning. Then wait again for your no.flash again in screens, then time for filipino consular to interview you...
Questions they ask me...
1. your full name
2.birthday

We got there at 6 am there was about 500 people all lined up at the footbridge across roxas blvd. We stood in line again and again. It took us until 1030 and our interview with the us consulate was over and we were approved (he had glasses and was bald!). Only asked us like 4 questions(me and my fiance), pretty standard stuff
-how we met, do we have kids, what i did for work, etc.
we were done but the last part took forever we had to come back after lunch. The pinoy officeer that did the pre interview was easy as well. Dont worry just have ur papers correct

I want to write a review as a means of giving back to VisaJourney. We referenced to this site countless times from the filing to the actual interview process. I have read and reread the reviews in preparation for my interview. VisaJourney really helped us a lot and for that we are very grateful.
My visa interview appointment was on November 8, 2012 at 7:30am. When I got there at around 6am, I learned that there is no more deposit counter for cellphones so I had to ask my friend to come to the US Embassy to keep mine. Before going in the US Embassy compound, a staff got my appointment letter and put a sticker at the back of my passport (with a barcode and my name on it). After passing through security check, I got a ticket number from a window. I was instructed to sit at the far end of the waiting area and to watch out for my number from the electronic board.
When my number flashed for the first time, I got in the main building and passed through another security check ... read complete review

I just got back to Alaska tonight and wanted to share our experiance and some observations.
We had a 7:30 appointment on November 6 and got there at 5 am. I wouldn't do that again. Get there about 6am would be fine for getting in line.
I've read where some say that they will put your papers in order for you. Not on this day. She stepped out and yelled the order. If you missed it...oh we'll...so if you are going, the order is 156, 157, 156, 157 and then the 156k. Everybody in line was shuffling papers. Save yourself a little stress and do it that way. Also have your appointment letter ready. She handed us a ziplock and told us how to put the passport in it. The only advice here is to have your documents in order before you go.
After that, off you go to get the "number". They then direct you to the waiting area. Some advice here, make sure to sit in the fiancée section. These are not well marked (small signs that can't be seen from afar). On... read complete review
