My interview went well at the US embassy manila. It wasn't hard as I was expecting. It is very important to Pray and let your worries laid in GOD'S hand.
The consuls I've been through were kind especially the Filipino consul.Just relax and answer the questions correctly and be polite, smile and look at them as you talk. If questions are answerable with a yes or no that is it.Less talk less question as I may say, unless the your CO will ask you to elaborate further.
Make sure your docs are well prepared and use folder that you can easily pull out your documents.Just be patient and attentive in waiting as numbers will be randomly flashed on the screen board.
My last CO didn't tell me if i was approve or not, she just told me to sit down and wait for my number or name to be called, this is normal if in the future u'll experience the same thing.I waited more an hour before my number was called at window 71 and the guy told me to home and wait for me visa to be d... read complete review

Today is the schedule of my Visa interview. Before anything else, I would like to say thanks firstly to our Almighty Father whose always been there/here helping me with all the process I've been through from the very start. and also to my Fiancee, My family, My fiance's family, my office mate, my bosses, and to my friends who also supported me morally.
I arrived at the US embassy at 7:00 Am for 7:30am schedule. I was planning to be at the US embassy earlier like 1 and half hour but then the driver who took me there didn't able to woke up early that's why i am almost late....Good thing I arrived 30 minutes before my schedule time. There was already a long line for Non-immigrant but for the fiancee/immigrant were not much so then I able to enter quick.
So from the First step...the lady in a blue shirt asked my PASSPORT, DS FORMS and Appointment letter. In the DS Forms, it should be in order like DS156,157.156,157, and 156K and stapled them together. Only ... read complete review

The embassy staff were very helpful and guided us through the process along the way, from our initial filing on through final instructions.
On the day of the interview, we arrived a few minutes before 6am, and were ushered inside shortly after our appointment time of 6:30am. Note that the restriction against electronic devices covers not just cell phones, but also USB keys (on which I had copies of our forms), so I had to leave my USB key at the security disk along with my photo ID.
We were called to various windows to show our requirements, for biometrics, and to pay at the cashier, and finally to the interview window.
The interview wasn't what I had expected at all. Instead of going into a room with a desk and a glaring light in our eyes, we were instead called to a window, where we were both sworn in, and then answered a handful of questions that lasted all of about five minutes:
where did we meet?
when did we marry?... read complete review

My fiance beverly Legaspi had her interview today and she called and was very disappointed in the way the Philippine consulate employee acted and treated her in there representation of the US Government. But I told her it should be no shock as the american employees and the Philippine workers have totally different personalities. But in protecting my fiancee I was very disappointed in her first experience with my country it was negative one! The main thing is she was approved!

I came at the US EMbassy around 3AM...I was second on the line for Fiancee/non immigrant Visa. They had us by group or by batch. I belonged to the second batch because my schedule is at 7:30 and some were set at 6:30. The first thing I did before I could go inside was that I had to show to them my confirmation letter and then my passport. The lady asked me if I have two copies each for DS FORMS - 156, 156k and 157(DS 230 wasn't required). Good thing, I have my complete copies for each of those forms. If didn't have the two copies of those then I would not be allowed to enter. After that, I then went to another reception. The girl checked my DS FOrm 156, my passport, my confirmation letter and then she gave me a priority number.. THe number I had was very important since it would be called every now and then. Our priority numbers would appear every now and then in various boards above us while waiting for our line. Unfortunately, it was not in a manner of first come first served basis.
