I went with my fiancee to the interview as I have read on the forums meeting through an aunt or relative that lives in the USA is a Red flag and you could get a hard time.

Our appointment was at 7:30 but we got there early like 6:15 we stayed at Bay view Hotel which was just across the street. No need to go early they will not let you in until close to your time but they did let us go in at 6:45 I don't think their was many of us at 7:30

We went inside and took a seat we set there for awhile our number started with a 6 but we set outside and they we just calling numbers starting with a 2 so my fiancee and I looked at the slip they gave us it just said submit DS-156 and DS-157 (2) of each and DS-156K to window 39 (the lady stapled them all together appointment letter on top before we went inside) We asked lady outside where to go she said oh your K-1 you can go inside. DS-230 (part 1) was not asked but take it in case they might add it later to the slip of ... read complete review

I accompanied my Fiancee (K1) and her daughter (K2) to their interviews at the USEM in Manila on DEC 10. Our interview schedules were at 7:30 AM and we arrived at the embassy around 6:20 AM.

6:20 AM - Grouping outside Embassy
===================================
With some direction from a couple of street vendors, we assembled in the "Fiancee" line at the base of the foot bridge that crosses Roxas Blvd. If you are unsure which line to fall in, just ask. Someone will know and its important to be in the correct one as you will be brought to the gate in groups based on your Visa type.

6:40 AM - First Checkpoint (The Gate)
======================================
At the gate, there are separate lanes based on Visa type. There are separate lanes for Fiancee Visas and this will be the first place you will be asked for your documents. Have your Passport, all DS forms, and your Appointment Letter (the one with the Bar Code and Map ... read complete review

It was a very good experience for me. My interview was last Nov 28, 2012 scheduled at 7:30AM.

I was already in line outside of the embassy at around 6AM. At the gate, the lady asked for my passport, interview appointment confirmation and DS forms. Thank God i found out about VJ, all the tips about whats not allowed inside is very helpful.

I was interview first by a fellow filipino. He asked me some very common questions about our relationship and some information about Paula. My interview with the consul took no less than 10 minutes. We had a very quick chat. He asked me if we really are in love with each other, when and where did i met her, and when and where do we plan to get married. At the end of our conversation, he said that he'll approve my Visa. I cant really express how happy i am when i heard that. As i look back, i picture myself having this huge smile on my face looking like retard. LOL.

But seriously, onc... read complete review
