My interview sched March 6, 6am. I was there an hour earlier and there was a long line already for both immigrant and non-immigrants.
Suggestion: If you can't have breakfast, take with you a small can of ensure (ready to drink)and drink while waiting in line. This will help to sustain you from dawn to 12noon or later.
5:45AM- checking of appointment letter/passport/security check
6:15- entry to the embassy building
6:30 - biometrics
6:40 - Pre screening by a Filipino. You will be asked your name, birthday, and submit some docs you didnt submitted to the NVC.
7:00-10:05 waiting while comfortably seated.
Keep your eye on the queue board. Take time to talk to your seatmate/s but never miss the new number being flashed after 3 seconds or less. (you can transfer seat anytime near the windows). That will make you more relax.
10:05-10:15 Interview by the CO.
Oath taking, and some questions as follows: ... read complete review

it's been tiring day i spent my whole day at the embassy for the k1 visa. first fall in line then wait your number to be called for finger scanning next for the pre-screening then the american consul. i've been interviewed twice one at american consul then a filipina consul. the filipina consul interviewed me for two hours she asked detailed and she also asked me to sign a sworn statement for fraud. she didn't told me if my visa was approved or denied..

Actually wasn't that bad just the wait times were horrible. Also if someone did in fact forget paperwork or copies, they would have to go across the street and from what I gather pay an exorbitant amount of money to create a copy. I think it would be in the embassies best interests to have this type of service available on-site just as they seem to have a little vendor that does passport pictures.

I do not really have much to say, but my fiance said that it was the worst interview in his life, because it seems like they are not convinced with our relationship, and they asked a lot of questions as in tons of questions. It is good that he was really ready with the interview and they cannot find anything wrong with our relationship and finally they have to approved it. I know it is a case to case basis but he said that they scrutinized everything but I told my fiance that I am glad that we are approved and well they are just doing their job. I am just so glad that they did not deny us or put us in Administrative review. It is also kind complicated because my fiance has a pending family petition and they might be thinking that the relationship is not real and just trying to go here in the Unnited States.
