My phone alarmed at exactly 4 A.M. in the morning. Took a hot shower and I had cup of hot coffee. Part of me wanted to eat a heavy breakfast but I didn't feel like eating at that early. I'm afraid I might have stomach upset inside the embassy. :D I hired a taxi downstairs and I arrived at the embassy around 4:49. Lots of applicants are already there. The woman guided me to the K1 line, I'm glad K1 applicants were only few. I didn't bring any gadgets with me, nor foods and liquids because I was fully aware that these items are not allowed inside the embassy. So I didn't had a hard time on that part.
by 6:30 A.M. The guard told us to move forward. We prepared the following on the gate:
*Appointment Confirmation Letter
*DS 156 (2 copies)
*DS 156k (1 copy)
*DS 157 (2 copies)
The lady on the gate asked me if I passed the medical. I said yes, she asked what they gave. I told her I got my chest r... read complete review

We had our interview yesterday also. David gave an excellent write up on the process. We arrived at the Embassy at 7 am. Our appointment was at 0630. We flew in from Cebu City (again). That just put us to the rear of the line. Everything went very smooth. Personnel were helpful and courteous. Visa approved and we were out the door completely finished by 1130. Currently awaiting passport delivery to Ayala mall 2Go office.

Well it has certainly been a very difficult journey. My wife endured hundreds of hours waiting in lines, traveling back and forth to the province of her birth, filling out forms, blah, blah, blah...
Well today was the final VISA Interview at the US Embassy in Manila. I was there with her. We had literally 40 pounds of documents, photos, etc that we carried with us. It was a five step process in the embassy. Well they said five but if you count all the stuff outside there were a few more.

They expertly controlled hundreds, I would guess at least 800 or 900 people in all waiting to get in. , we were moved from one staging area to another at least five times like we were all cattle after having arrived to begin the process at 4:30 a.m. for her 6:15 a.m. appointment. Got in the bu... read complete review

Everything was very easy for us. We arrived at 7:15am and were done at 10:30. Was only asked 1 question from the American CO. We spent less than 30 seconds with him before he told us "everything was good".
