Arrived at 5:00am and was the first one in the K-1 line. The greeters reviewed the forms for completeness at 6:30am while entering the embassy grounds. The greeter gave Zyra a number and she waited in the waiting area for the number to show up on the display.
At window 48 they took Zyra's passport and conducted the interview with the Filipino CO. They actually forgot some necessary questions and had to call her back. Just asked the basic questions about how we met and what I do for a living. In total, this only took about 5 minutes.
After waiting only about a minute, she was called for the biometrics, which took only a couple minutes. Then she waited another 5 minutes for the American CO interview, which lasted only 5-8 minutes. Questions included both of our birthdays, full names, and what I do for a living. The guy was really serious and did not give any indication of whether she approved when he told her to take a seat and wait to be called to th... read complete review

Her interview went well. She got there around 5am and her appointment was at 7:30am. From what she told me, the CO only spent 5minutes interviewing her and didn't even ask about or even looked at my papers(ITR, W2s, Employer letter, Pay stubs etc.) which I was surprised. She was interviewed by an American lady CO. Also she said the filipina girl who was at the window seemed rude and was in a rush when my fiancé asked her if she passed or not and they told her "Yes you passed", "Next"! They also gave her a pamphlet for traveling to USA kinda like the one she got during CFO. Anyways the most important thing is that she passed. Thank God for answers our prayers.

The interview was on Monday 15 July and it went well. She arrived at 630am and she waited for 3 hours until she was interviewed by the Filipina consul. She was asked the following questions in Tagalog: Who is your petitioner? What's his address? Where did you meet him? How did you meet him? How many times did he come to the Philippines? What's his citizenship? Is he the biological father of the children? Was he married previously? Did you apply for a US Visa before? Why did you expedite the case? Do you have the passport pictures?
The American consul asked the following: When was the marriage? How did you meet him? When did you meet him? Is he the biological father of the kids? How many times did he visit the Philippines? How do we date? How do you talk to each other? Can you show me any letters? She goes through the letters and photos. The consul said, "Congratulations, your visa is approved. Please take a seat." The staff were friendly and cour... read complete review
