For USEM Appointment/Interview,
Put the following together:
DS forms, appointment letter and passport
=these will be initially presented to the greeters in their booth or tent before going through security screening;they will staple the ds forms and appointment letter together and put a barcode sticker on the back of the passport then they will return these to the applicant
=there are no tables outside the embassy, so if one will bring a lot of things, make sure that it will be easier to get these forms..
=at the waiting area, the greeters (ladies in blue shirt) will collect these.. hand it to them so ur number will flash on the monitors right away for the biometrics (after they submit these forms inside the Annex bldg)
= DO NOT forget to put NONE or N/A in empty boxes/lines on the DS forms
==wait for ur number to flash on the monitors for the biometrics=
- Passport will eithe... read complete review

Well my fiancé told me to get up extra early so I could be there in line and not rushing. It was fairly painless. I was a little confused when I left because they didn't say refuse to issue or approved ... but they kept my passport and said "everything looks in order and good to go you are free to leave the embassy now" they were rushing people through. My Fiancé was confused when I told him because he read everywhere they tell you if your approved or if your denied. But after he researched it. It is no big deal they wouldn't of kept My passport if I wasn't approved. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will be one year since I saw my hubby to be when I get to fly to the US!! javascript:emoticon(' ')

It was such a pleasant experience for me despite the presence of the tropical storm: Labuyo. Checked in at Casa Bocobo; took my breakfast and headed to embasssy. Arrived at 630; it took only within the first hour (around 7-8am) for me to finish my biometrics and the filipino staff interview. waited 3.5 hrs for my consul interview which took about 7 minutes only. Basic questions were asked: how we met, when will i bring my kid over to the US, commonalities, etc. Consul informed me my visa is approved. That's when i started to get frantic--coz i don't know where to put my happiness and I know I have to behave inside the embassy. Was out by 1145 and practically screaming, thank you Lord, as I head to the exit.

A lil background about my case and ourselves wife is a USC and we have a year old baby also a USC. Met wifey personally through a family friend in 2003. Got married in June 2011, that time wife was an LPR. She got preggers after a month and gave birth to our daughter in Jan in NYC minus me. She was naturalized on June 2012 then filed the petition the following month. In the periods of 2008-2011, I applied for a tourist visa 4 times, 2 attempts for personal reasons, 2attempts were due to work. Only the third attempt was successful and the last attempt obviously was not. Hookay on with the timeframe...
