The embassy opens on time and the process was systematic...American consuls and filipino consuls ask questions related to the specific category...although the waiting process before you finally get your interview is LOOONG and you dont know what to expect because of their random number system, generally, it was a very memorable experience!

The interview process was smooth and the interviewers were very cordial and respectful. They asked only the standard questions and there were no surprises except...
One problem... Our documents did not include a I-864A. We had never heard of the document before and neither had our attorney. Yes, I should haven't hired him.
Once this document is received there is no need for a second interview.

Nov 13 was our interview date, we went there around 5am but we never get passed through the security until 6 to 630am.so my advice is not to go there early for the guard will call the next batch to come in like for us k1 for 730am.please prepare your confirmation page on DS 160, your appointment letter (for us, we didnt get that appointment letter instead we showed the appointment schedule) and your passport.this will be check on the first way in.then you will get through a door where security check was.proceed to the ticketing booth, remember this is your lifeline their..lol!the agent will instruct you to go to door 2 and pass what they staple in (copy of the #,ds160 & appointment sched) to window 37 before that another security check inside the building..i never get into the window 37 anyway, a lady from the embassy ask me on what i am processing and get my stapled reqts.i was then told to go outside the waiting area and to wait for my number to be flash.funny i was too confuse wher... read complete review

I was at the embassy at 5am. Hopeful, smiling and yes...nervous. I couldn't find anyone who was either a spouse or a fiancee... I think they were at the end of the line. I was in front....
5:45 : line started to move and we were getting fidgety by yhe minute. Well I was... Contemplating and trying to review facts in my mind.... (Reviewing all facts about you, your husband, your lifebtogether is a must!)
6:15 : numbers were handed out inside thee mbassy after security check. As you get inside the embassy DO NOT FORGET TO GIVE YOUR APPOINTMENT LETTER FROM NVC TO THE LADY THAT SAYS WINDOW 39. (Your number will not be called if you haven't done this!)
7:00 : i was called at window 42 for biometrics. Do not be scared...thye look stern but they wil only ask your name, birthday and get your biometrics...so relax!
8:30 : Filipino consul. He was very pleasant. So despite me being very nervous I was at ease... Questions he asked me ar... read complete review
