Everyone there was very friendly, informative, helpful and courteous. I just noticed that during the interview day, although the the actual interview took only a few minutes, the waiting was extremely long due to the total number of applicants. We were there from 7am to 3pm.

Manila Embassy is very systematic.. the Consuls are friendly and very approachable..
You will even be amazed at how americans finally learned to speak our language.. They speak tagalog when some of the applicants have a hard time understanding them..
The filipino consul who interviewed me at window 57 is very nice! He took the interview so lightly it was just like a regular conversation.. The american consul at window 62 is also very nice, she did not intimidate me in any way, the same goes to the other consuls that i have overheard.. They are all so friendly.. If you have complete documents and you have a valid relationship, there is absolutely nothing that will go wrong.. Just be prepared with your documents and always smile

I answered K1 and she led me to the line were the K1 Fiance applicants are. There were chairs lined up (30 pesos /chair rental). I rented one and waited for our scheduled time to be called. They let people in by batches. My scheduled appointment is 7:30. At that time they only had those for 6:15 called in. My fiance, who was at work at that moment and I were communicating through iMessage while waiting for our batch to be called in.
At 5:30am,, the security guard called our batch and we had to line up near the Embassy entrance. There were separate lines for Tourists, seafarers and Immigrants and Fiancee. They had us prepare our passport, Appointment Letter and DS-160 Confirmation ready on hand.
By 5:45am, the embassy lady by the entrance checked the documents on hand and just ind... read complete review
