My nanay had her interview on Jan 06. She went to USEM around 5:00 am. Before 6:00, all applicants were called to fall in line. She presented her appointment letter along with the passport. The guard gave her #. By the time she got inside:
1st - Inspection
2nd - Biometrics
3rd - Fil Consul Interview (Name and DOB of beneficiary & petitioner, address, when did you last saw the petitioner, how many kids petitioner have, etc....)
4th - American Consul (same questions)
5th - Verification of docs (w/c they did not ask for the I-864. Though in the appointment letter she was instructed to submit I-864 form and other supporting docs for Affidavit of Support)
6th - 2go delivery
VISA IS APPROVED !!! It was fast and smooth.
Thank you LORD.

I was able to attend the interview with my fiance since I was in town. Was advised to arrive Jan 6 between 7:30-10:00am. Arrived at 7:00am. Waited in line for about 15 minutes outside before going through security and getting our ticket number. Called to Biometrics window (STEP 1) at 8:30a. Took just a few minutes to collect finger prints, then you return to your seat. Called to Filipino consular window (STEP 2) at 11:20a. I stayed with my fiance at the window during this interview and was even asked questions. Everything went smooth expect on the i-134 support form. I included W2, bank letter and employment letter but was asked why I didn't include 1040 tax copy. I advised the consular that was not a requirement listed on the i-134 instructions unless you are self-employed. She moved on and didn't discuss it further and we returned to our seat. Embassy closed from 12p-1p for lunch. Returned at 1:00p and was called to American Consular window (STEP 3) at 2:10p for interview. ... read complete review

This review is coming from an expedited F2A Visa case.
The overall experience last January 6, 2014 (Monday)was good except from the Filipino Officer. -.-
At around 3:00AM - We left Pampanga.
4:20AM - Arrived at US Embassy Manila, parked our car near the foot bridge.
5:00AM - Went in line
5:45AM - The guard called for the 6:30 appointment.
6:25AM - We were inside the Interview building.
6:50AM - Biometrics. Finger Scanning the officer asked our Name and Date of Birth.
Filipino Consul - I lost track of time now. Our number flashed on the screen. Since our case was expedited. There was still left one missing payment which is the IV fee of my sister. But according to the Officer we haven't paid anything yet, that their system is not showing any payment made by us. But I insisted that we have paid everything except from my sister IV Fee. She let us sit down first and said they will verify it. and time passed. She has ca... read complete review
