My embassy/consulate experience was good, they sent me an email that i should bring a cenomar a week before my interview which is helpful for if i dont have it i might have 221g and will delay my visa.. The interview was fast and the consuls are nice from first interview to the american consul. I was told that i am the only one she interviewed which will be living in Montana. She took time on browsing on our album and asked simple questions like when did we meet, when was the last time we have seen each other and how long he stayed here in my country, when is our wedding, what is my work before and the like. the worst part is waiting for the number to called for it is randomly announced but it was great and worthy at the end.

Well my fiancée had a 730am appt. on June 10,2014 and she wanted me to wake her up at 2am so I did. I made sure she had a big breakfast and to double check everything and take everything she had for the interview and make sure she didn't leave anything behind. First thing I had her check is her appointment letter, passport , ds-160 fee receipt. You need these things before they even let you in the door. I told her I would call her a little later so I give her time to eat and get ready. So I called her around 4am and she was about to leave soon so I again told her I would call her a little later. I called her again to make sure she was in line around 6am cause I knew her friend was with her and she would take her cell phone when its time for her to start, well I didn't get thru so I guess she was getting inside already. So it was a waiting time for me and trying to keep myself busy at home so I don't stare at the clock all afternoon and night.

It's true that it takes 5 hours for the whole process of the interview. While waiting it makes the applicants get nervous and worried based on what I felt. Overall, It was great because I made it. Thanks to the consulate officer for being nice to me during my interview.

I would like to share my visa interview experience today, June 10, 2014. I arrived at Us Embassy Manila, 430am for my 615am appointment, by 945am im done.
They let us enter the US embassy at past 6am. We were told to prepare the first page of the appointment letter and passport. Next step is to proceed to security check like in the airports, then another security check at the main building.
The first step is the biometrics, 2nd step was Filipino Consul , 3rd step American consul then the 4th step is just to let you know if there are still documents needed to submit.. if none .. they will return to you your appointment letter page 1 and will instruct you to proceed to To Go Courier window for the delivery of your visa.
The Filipino consul who interviewed me was a lil bit strict, strict in the sense that if she gave an instruction, you should follow her, but in the documents she just get my passport old and new, NBi and cenomar, asked... read complete review
