Was this an interview? It didn't feel like one -- going to the embassy with my wife was the best thing I ever did for the entire process. I have been to the embassy before but the people there are extremely nice and helpful.
First window call up was just finger printing, then we waited another 45 minutes and then was called up an talked to a nice pinay that just went over all the paperwork with us together to make sure things were in order. They didn't ask me for any additional items what-so-ever.
Third window was an American guy that asked me how the Angels were doing in the MLB because he was an Oakland A's fan. He pretty much asked me how we met and then said it was quite unique in his line of work. He never asked my wife one question. He did a formal swear-in and as he threw our paperwork into a tray behind him he said "you know what that sound is?" I said "no, but I hope it's a good one."
