A bit more information about the interview.

I don't know all the specifics but I will tell you what I do know.

She got there around 6:50 am for a 7:30 am interview time slot.

They began processing at 8:00 am.

The first booth is for biometrics fingerprints - she said a very nice American made her feel at ease and joked with her.

Each booth took about an hour of waiting.

2nd Booth - Filipino man checked all her paperwork and made sure it was in order. I think he asked some questions but not sure

exactly what.

3rd Booth - not sure if this was the CO American officer that asks the formal questions or if he was the 4th booth.

But the American CO she said looked like Superman with dark hair and she was in love with him LOL.... read complete review

Pretty straightforward process. We opted for a really early interview in hopes of finishing early but I just forgot that there was a visa processing fee that has to be paid on the day of the interview (or maybe we were unaware that there was a visa processing fee). Got to the 1st and 2nd steps fairly quickly but when I got to the CO, she told me that she can't continue with the interview until I pay. She was very understanding, though, what she did was place my interview on hold up until 10am that day so I quickly phoned my husband and father-in-law to wire me some money and then I had to run around the area for a place I could withdraw the money from.

Whew.

So I got that done. Paid the fee and returned to the window I was originally assigned, carried on with the interview. She asked some straightforward questions and asked for some pictures and then "We will mail your passport with your visa. Congratulations."

Not bad..

Our interview experience went well. The worst part of the whole interview was showing up at 1am to get in line but this is how things work in the Philippines. Everything about our relationship was is 100% real and we were open and honest with each other about everything. If a relationship is real there is nothing to worry about in the interview.
