I got to US EMBASSY at 4:45 am and fall in line to 6:30 appointment. There's already a lot of people outside the US embassy and has a different lines for every appointment.Around 6 o'clock in the morning the guard on duty and a lady wearing ID ( i think she is probably a us embassy employee) came and asked which line is 6:15 appointment. And they assist first the 6:15 appointment to go inside the tent which has a number from 1 - 5, to fall in line again followed by 6:30 and so on.

At the tent, it has another lady assisting applicants in lines and said to prepare passport and the appointment letter to present to the personnel in front of the desk who put/stick barcoded name at the back of the passport.(then returned to the applicant)

After this, i went inside the us embassy compound and fall in line again to checked bags and for scan.I am a IR-1 applicant and i brought original proof of our relationship like cards. And i am not aware of that musical card is ... read complete review

The interview process was really simple for my fiancee.
She had the usual waiting and finger print scan process.

The interview itself was simple as well. The interviewer just asked her what was my name, my parents name, what my job was and what I do, have I ever been married, has she ever been married, does she have kids, do I have kids. Thats it. He barely looked at the forms too.

Later she went to another section and the lady just skimmed through the i-134 really quickly. She just took the i-134 and the tax forms and gave everything else back to my fiancee. She didn't even take my income proof or proof of on going relationship.

It was strange. It was a lot more simple than we thought...

But we aren't complaining. They told her to go home and wait for the passport/visa to be sent back to her.

First person (Filipina lady) tried to tell me my future husbands taxes were wrong. She was wrong.

American Consulate Interview was very pleasant, asked a few questions and approved my visa.

So I had my interview last Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 7:30 am. Before I had my interview, I did a lot of research and always checked the embassy reviews on this site. This site is really very helpful. I just want to thank all the VJ Members here who have been helping us answering all our questions.

So, here is my experience... I got there at the USEM around 7:00 am. There was no more line so the guard just let me get inside right away. After I got inside, I went to the first counter before the waiting area. They asked me to give them my DS-160 Confirmation page, Passport, and Interview Confirmation page. After that, they gave me a number which I will be using for the whole process. They also gave me back my passport which they put inside a plastic with a lock. Then I went to the waiting area. Make sure you always look at the board where the numbers will flash because they will flash the numbers randomly, not in orders. Around 8:00 am, they let us get inside. So I wait... read complete review
