My husband had his interview Nov. 24, 2014. Overall it was great. He said the two co's were very nice. We did get a 221g because we dis not have the w2 form. But the comsaid as soon as they recieve it they will issue his visa. True to their word, my hubby sent thew2 form which I had fedexed, that same week on thursday, and On Dec. 3 our visa status changed to ISSUED ))
The only thing they asked to look at was pictures, our baby's birth certificate, and my letter of explanation for not filing tax 2013. It was a pretty short interview. We are very happy and excited tombe with this long rough journey!

I had interview last December 2 at US embassy Riyadh. We were quite confident that our documents were all in order but unfortunately our case was put in Administrative Processing. The CO asked for a joint sponsor for my husband stating he must have at least 150,000$ in assets or have a joint sponsor. I told him my husband is making 46,000$ annually and is above poverty line but he said we have 2 children, so 4 times 29,812$. Also my NBI clearance is expired since I got it August 2013. He also asked for new photos because my face in photo we submitted a year ago to USCIS looks slimmer than my present 'after baby' face which is chubbier. We're disappointed but overall the experience is fine. The officers are polite and they're just doing their jobs. Now we'll have to submit a new NBI clearance, joint sponsor documents and recent photo and wait for second interview.

My CR-1 Interview Experience (MNL,Philippines)
<2:30am>: Woke up. Snoozed for 15 mins. Then woke up for real. Took a bath, dressed up, grabbed breakfast.
<4:15am>: Long Lines!! 😱 Thought I was one of the earliest to arrive, but there were already about 49-50 people in the IV line before me. Knowing my hubby is with me lessened my nervousness and boredom. Lol. 😁 Tip: Make sure you are on the right line.
Met new friends along the line, both are seniors. They're pretty cool and nice to me and my hubby. One of them even shared her big umbrella with us when it drizzled a bit. So it is advisable that you bring your umbrella just in case it pours.
<6am>: Handed out FIRST PAGE of Appointment Letter/P4 and PASSPORT to an Embassy staff. Then the lady gave back my ziplocked passport and handed me a 2go shipping info slip.
Then we went inside and had our bags checked. **Tip: Don't bring any gadge... read complete review
