My Fiance had her interview on Dec 20 2014. The interview took no longer than 15 minutes. She was asked if she new I was divorced and that I had three children and was asked to give there names which she provided. They did not ask her any questions. They smiled at her and told her she was approved. The only hold up they said was they would accept only the most recent NBI clearence as her old one was issued in late May 2014. They gave her the paperwork to have it shipped back to them via 2GO and told her they would issue her visa as soon as it was recieved.
She was then taken to lunch at the Embassy by the staff and then left to meet her family out side and went home and the following day got her updated NBI cleareance whihc was recieved by the US Embassy on Dec 17, 2014. On Dec 22 her status was changed to ready and now on Dec 23 2015 it is in Adminstrative Processing to be issued as far as I know

My K1 interview went smoothly so I am currently waiting for my passport and my approved K1 visa. The Filipina Consul who interviewed me was very thorough. She asked me the following:
(1) My Name,
(2) Date of Birth,
(3) Petitioner's Name,
(4) How did we met?,
& (5) Why doesn't she have an ITR?
My fiancee is retired and her means of income is her pension which passed the Poverty Guideline. Anyway, after giving her some VA letters certifying my claims, she took m passport and she told me first to just wait and then she said I could just take a seat because she has to verify if it's ok that I'm not presenting an ITR. Anyway, after the long wait, my queue number flashed for the American Consul interview. The Consul was nice and asked me this:
(1) My Name,
(2) How did I met my fiancee,
(3) "As a member of the LGBT, I know you have experienced difficulty. Tell me your family's reaction when you told them that you are officially to... read complete review

i got my appointment around 6:30AM... you thought it will be more convenient and you'll finish before 12non or 2PM. but in my case the consulate is soo slow I guess or they cater a lot of appointments even they can't accommodate all of them.( I don't know) so yeah i was there 6:30am. and finish at 3:30pm.
the hotel i booked for 1 day only charge me for 2 days since their check out time is 2:00PM. good thing I got some spare money. but still....
Interview experience was easy, though i feel anxious about what do they ask from me and what documents do they still need. luckily their questions are not that hard and they did not look for another documents. Praise the Lord. thank God.
