My wife had her interview May 8th. I was unable to be with her at the interview. So I will try to give a helpful review of what she told me.
First thing I will recommend is book a room at a hotel close to embassy. My wife lives in manila, but we still thought it was best if she could be closer to the embassy for her 6 am appointment. I book a room for her at manila bay hotel right across from the embassy.
My wife told me she went to the embassy at 4 am. I do not know if a person needs to arrive that early or not but my wife told me the lines was starting to form. I ask her if the process was confusing. She told me it was but their was helpful people there that will direct a person to the right spot. I think my wife told me there are like 5 steps involve. I am not sure what all the steps involve.
As far as the interview. My wife told me she was interview first by a very nice Filipina lady in tagalog. One of the question the lady ask my wife was if my wife had a pri... read complete review

The nvc sent me a letter and I have an interview on June 8. They said My AOS is incomplete, specifically the I 864A of the household members. Because the tax part doesn't match the ITR. Because the household members are my husband's parents, and they are filing jointly, My husband included them both in the I 864 . What should be their tax per year the gross? Should they have the same numerical when writing their tax since they're filing jointly? They both filed I 864A, so their tax annually should be written same gross income?

The consul asked basic question and if you are really have a real relationship then it's easy to answer. I was nervous of course as I really don't know what to expect or how they are going to "interrogate" me. But honestly, there's nothing really to worry about as long as you're being truthful and honest with your fiancé.

But all in all, they are well organize and nice. The consul who interviewed me is really sweet and soft spoken. There's nothing really to worry if they are very gentle to you.

And of course, being ready before interview date is always better.

First interviewer asked by son's father and second interviewer asked three questions, How we met, how long I worked overseas and how many times my fiancee had visited. Then he took a look at the additional pictures I provided.

Very positive experience!
